Recently, our Charlotte, NC team had the opportunity to partner with HopeWay, a nationally recognized mental health recovery center, for a special on-site event that was all about creativity, connection, and trying something new.
A Coffee Bar…With a Twist
Instead of your typical grab-and-go setup, we brought something a little different: a “Be a Barista: interactive coffee bar.
This wasn’t just about serving lattes, it was about teaching, engaging, and giving HopeWay clients a chance to step behind the bar.
Participants got to:
- Learn the basics of crafting a latte
- Experiment with flavors and customizations
- Get hands-on with the barista experience
- Create a drink that was completely their own
It turned into more than just coffee, it became a moment of discovery.
Why Events Like This Matter
At its core, this event was about engagement and new experiences.
For many clients, it was a chance to:

- Express creativity in a low-pressure, fun environment
